There hasn’t been much posting since the COVID outbreak but CCI has been marching on. Mike & Diana Halverson was able to go last September to take some much-needed equipment down. The hurricane and lightning had crippled 3 of the stations. Port, Rosita, and Corn Island. By a miracle of God, we got the equipment through customs. We did not know the government was stopping all radio equipment. They take everything when you fly in and either charge 4 times the cost for taxes or keep it and re-sell it. They looked at our bags and decided to focus on the big bag instead of the 4 smaller ones. The big one had our personal supplies and a broadcasting board. The smaller ones had all of the expensive equipment that was needed to get the stations back to normal running conditions. We prayed about it and about a week later we got the broadcasting board back for only double the value. It is now hooked up and running. It was a successful trip. Thanks to those praying for us.
